- Go to https://vpn.tkc.edu - Login using the full email address and password sign-on.
- If it's the first time, it will instruct you to download OpenVPN. Click the link to download and run that application (If it asks you "Do you want to run or save openvpn-connect...), click Run
- Will will run through the installation of OpenVPN and its configuration. Let it run its course.
- It will install OpenVPN and add it to both the desktop as a shortcut, as well as an icon on the Quick Launch (lower right-hand of the task-bar, you might need to click the upward-pointing arrow to see the icon, which will look like an orange O).
- From the QuickLaunch icon, click on the Icon once, and a window will open. Select "Connect to vpn.tkc.edu."
- An "OpenVPN" dialogue box will open, where you will enter your full username and password (the full email address).
- The first time you sign-on, it will ask/warn you, "Allow VPN connection to vpn.tkc.edu?" Select "don't ask again" and click Yes.
- You will now be connected to the network.
- When you're done with your session, make sure to click the OpenVPN Icon again and select "Disconnect."
