If you are experiencing issues logging into your account, you may need a password reset.  Try the following steps.

  1. Change Your Password.  Head over to https://changemypassword.tkc.eduFirst, you must  "Edit Your Profile."  This is required to utilize the password-reset functionality.
  2. Reset Password. You can click this, answer the previously-configured security questions (from #1 above), and you will be able to reset your password.
  3. Clear Your Browser.  Often times, saved passwords in your browser can cause conflicts when you're trying to login, even when you're manually entering the new password.  To help mitigate this issue, delete any saved passwords from your browser to make sure there is no login conflict.
  4. Login Format.  For the Student Portal, Schoology, and Email (mail.tkc.edu), you only need firstname.lastname when logging in.  The only location that needs your full email address is the Symplicity Housing Site.

Account Locked? - Your account will lock for 10 minutes after five failed logins (when editing your profile) or after five failed answers (when answering security questions during the password reset process.  If this happens, your account should revert to unlocked status.

Forgotten Password & Security Questions. - If you have forgotten your password, and you do not remember the security questions (or you have not set them up yet), you will need to email helpdesk@tkc.edu so that a member of the IT Staff can assist you in gaining access to your account.  Please note that this route may be delayed due to the realities of our business hours.
